OKAY OKAY!

Alright so I'm back by sort of popular demand, or more accurately, to prove that I am still alive.

So yeah, a little busy. And by a little I mean a lot. From the moment I wake up to the moment I go to bed atleast 19 hours later I usually don't stop. Here's a quick run down of what's what:

The Shadow Box: I'm directing. Alana is assistant directing. We have an amazing cast and our tech is completely STACKED. I have half the e-board in major tech positions. So yeah, we rock hardcore. Our cast bondings aren't as insane as Reckless but still ridiculously fun. At the last one we gambled with dollar bills and coins and I walked away with $40. We then did random tequila shots and played strip poker. Luckily/unluckily no one got past underwear. My highlight was the JUG O' WINE that became my best friend. For anyone that doesn't know I've pretty much given up hard alcohol. My maximum is one shot at a party. Turns out that under all of the stress alcohol turned into the depressant it's supposed to be. So now I'm a wine drinker, and a hilarious one at that. It just gives me this goofy, no shame but remembers everything and doesn't cry feeling that I really like. Plus the hangovers are much easier to deal with.

E-board: E-board is awesome. I love the free reign that I have as VPSP. I have started a lot of awesome projects and am really excited about them. My baby is the Writer's Workshop which should be off the ground by Saturday.

POC: Being a POC is SO MUCH BETTER than being GMC. At the last LLAB our job was to "supervise and evaluate." A couple of us practiced our S&E positions beforehand; mine is a stern, arms crossed sort of look. It's up for modification. My one subordinate is on my AAS Staff which is really nice, allowing me to focus 100% on AAS.

AAS: So yeah, being Commander is a wee bit time consuming but very worth it. Though half of my original staff quit, my current staff is working hard and I love them. I love that I can do a drive by meeting with them at the GSU and say "you do this, and have you done this?" and the answer is almost always "yes."

In both AAS and the wing in general I am really trying to raise expectations. I'm not crazy about the freshman class because they seem like a bunch of wimps and I just don't like the precedent that sets. However, I am trying to remember how I dealt with the ROTC adjustment and am therefore patient... sort of. =o)

The friends scene is pretty awesome in that I have some true and tried people still around but am recruiting a TON of new people. The last couple of gatherings have been really eclectic and therefore fun and interesting. I'm getting to know new people which is very satisfying since I'm always dying for change.

Oh I changed my major.... again. I'm a Psych major and you can all kiss my ass if you are making fun of me right now. I found out that I can actually get a MASTERS DEGREE in FORENSIC PSYCHOLOGY. Who knew this was an actual field? Not me! The thought of spending the rest of my life figuring out murderers, psychopaths and serial killers makes me all warm and fuzzy inside. Apparently the Air Force even has opportunities for me to do this in the military, putting me right smack in Washington DC. Not to mention if I get accepted into the program I'm looking into I start at about $80k a year once you include my housing stipend. w00t!

My obsession with serial killers has only gotten worse: I bought a serial killer documentary and am reading "Serial Murder" right now. Ridiculously interesting stuff. I'll go more into that some other time I'm sure.

Oh and I'm watching another relationship crumble before my eyes. Apparently relationships aren't my thing. Oh well.

Okay so I'm even boring myself here. Now that I've caught you up, I'll try to bring the funny in later entries.

Love you all!
