Your "formal" invitation.

I, Julie Freaking Janson, am throwing my final bash of the year. If you do not come to this party, you lose at life and are no longer my friend. If you are receiving this IM you can bring WHOEVER you want to this party.

Booze: Da Chronic and a keg will be provided

Cover: $5

When: Friday July 23rd 10pm

Where: 73 Gardner St Apt 3

Theme: So I was thinking: "How do I make this the wildest party ever?" Do I have them come naked? Do I have shaving cream fights? Do I have condom balloons? Then I thought: Why not have it all? So this theme, should you choose to accept it is "Your Wildest Theme Come True." DO WHATEVER the hell you want, just make it fabulous and, you get the picture, WILD! I personally will be in lingerie and plan on having a shaving cream fight. Don't be lame, take advantage!

To close: COME TO THIS FUCKING PARTY!

PS: If you show up at said party with no attempt to be wild, you will not get in. Wildness is now included in cover. Show up pantless for all I care. =o)

Justsammy31: kate, I say this as a long time friend, please take me to this party
Justsammy31: and if you cannot, please at some time introduce me to this friend julie
SKittKate: incredible... you seduce men from 3000 miles away

NBoyle123: perhaps... cover should be $5 and something WILD?
NBoyle123: as in... if they come with $5 and a jester hat.. they're in!
NBoyle123: $5 and a nipple ring? BINGO!
NBoyle123: perhaps you could add:  "communal bottle of absinthe gets you and a guest in for free!"

I Love the 90's a bit too much......

That's right. 13 hours of VH1. ALL of I Love the 90's. I am about 10,000 pop culture facts smarter and about 50 IQ points dumber. I love summer.

The Marthinator!!

After her sentencing of 5 months in prison, 5 months house arrest and a $30,000 fine Martha Stewart was quoted as saying "I'll be back. I will be back."

Atleast she wasn't cliche about it.

Send love!

Here is my address at FT. You can send mail any time from July 28 - August 25. Please do not send any care packages (especially food). Short letters, articles, pictures, comic strips are ideal.

Cadet Janson Julie A
AFROTC FTU 3
1650 Luke Street
Ellsworth AFB, SD 57706-4609

I will not have much time to write letters and frankly, I would rather spend the time I do have doing other things. Therefore I will be sending letters to someone (probably Kate) and she will post them in the blog. So if you are interested in updates, check here about once a week during the month of August.

You're GI Joe with the Kung Fu Grip!! You're
strong, tough, and know how to kick some ass.
Don't forget though, no matter how manly you
think you are, you're still just a doll. God
Bless America.

What childhood toy from the 80s are you?
brought to you by Quizilla

Oh summer

Friday was the Glam Rock party. We of course went all out. Kate and I looked ridiculously hot and made sure to remind each other of this all night. We're actually beginning to talk in plural pronouns and it's scary. As we walked home drunkenly leaning on each other (and by this I mean Kate was practically carrying me) we looked like total prostitutes. People thought Alex was the third prostitute until they realized he was a guy, then they thought he was taking us home.

Kate: My god I have to go to the bathroom.
Julie: (looking like I have just discovered the theory of relativity) KATE! I have a bathroom!

Saturday night Kate and I went to Coolidge to see Kill Bill Volumes 1 & 2, back to back, no breaks. We were there from 11:30-3:30am. We're hardcore like that. You have not experienced Kill Bill until you've seen it all at once. Everyone says how they are such different movies but when you watch them together it all makes perfect, amazing sense.

4th of July was calm and uneventful, just how I like it. Dad picked me up in Boston on his bike so we got to do some highway riding which rocked. That night Kirky and I did a redneck Fourth of July. We got some lawn chairs, fried chicken, and beer and watched the fireworks.

Things are looking up.

"All I wanna do is have some fun...."

"It's not getting what you want, it's wanting what you got."

Sheryl Crow is my new hero. =o)

Not much to talk about...

I'm not dead, just nothing eventful is happening. I have two things I could write about but I'm just never in a funny mood anymore and I don't want to waste them. Summer classes are over for me and that makes me happy. Evan and I continue to try and figure out what the hell we are doing and I think we are finally realizing there is nothing we can do, which frankly, has been depressing as hell. The most frustrating thing for me right now is how unbelievably unproductive I feel. I really can't wait to get to FT and pick up my happy shiney life when the school year starts. Then I can be busy and happy all of the time. So yeah, not dead.
