Still haven't heard from the e-bay weasel. He has 3 days before I destroy him.
I've decided rat. They're cheaper and easier. Plus my roomate has okayed it which is a big plus. So far my favorite part about getting a rat, despite the fact that I don't own one yet, is people's reactions. But just to clear up some misunderstandings: The plague was caused by the fleas on rats, not the rats themselves, rats are not vicious unless you treat them like dirt, and THEY MAKE GOOD PETS!
Of course once they find a way to block pop-ups, people find new ways of doing pop-ups! GRRR!
Saw League of Extraordinary Gentlemen last night. Though some of the dialogue was ooozing with corn, I enjoyed it. It wasn't a masterpiece, but simply enjoyable. Stuart Townsend as Dorian Gray.... yummy.
New Strong Bad= Hilarious.

Yeah so every time I give e-bay another chance, someone has to go and ruin it for everybody. I bid on 4 CDs of accoustic songs and demos by Our Lady Peace. What this kid failed to mention is that these were BURNED CDs. Plus he didn't even give each CD it's own individual case, he put two per case. So I wrote a threatening e-mail instead of just leaving negative feedback to give the kid a chance to fix the whole thing. We'll see. On a good note I won a one of those gigantic movie posters for Pirates of the Caribbean...mmmmm Johnny Depp. For anyone who hasn't seen this movie, go see it right now because it's fantastico. I've seen it twice and I rarely pay to see a movie in the theatres twice. I may even go a third time right now, just like you should be doing. For anyone who thinks this was a bad movie, you can answer to me. The action scenes are creative and exciting, the special effects are amazing (especially for the final fight), they don't dwell on a stupid, sappy love story, and Depp is amazing once again, Rush is a great villain, and everyone else is likeable at the least. Bloom is a little corny but I'll let him get away with it. This movie is hilarious, exciting, and Johnny Depp is in it....nuff said.
So I'm deciding on a new pet. It's down to either rat or ferret. Now, bear in mind that due to being raised with the knowledge that my mother absolutely hates rats, I had never considered this as an option. But my sister just bought one for her four year old son and they say it's a great pet. They are almost like small dogs. So I have been researching and so far the rat is winning though I like ferrets more simply because the rat seems like it's much easier and cheaper to care for. Plus they only live 2-3 years which is perfect timing- the thing will be dead just when I need it to be. I would ask you to leave comments but I don't know how to do that yet. E-mail me if you can help the computer illiterate person.
Today I also signed a form saying I won't eat lead paint chips in my new apartment. That was fun too.
Yup, that's it.

"Hi Everybody!" Well it is finally time for me to take on the self-indulgence that is an online journal. I'm doing this partly because this may actually be a way for me to keep people updated on my life, but mostly because some cool people I know are doing it. Right now it's just me, no school, and lots of work. My co-workers see me more than my family so I like to call Ruby Tuesday my first home.
For those of you who knew him, Jimmy's wake is tomorrow night from 4-7pm. This has all taken a big toll on some people, especially those of us who have seen way too many people under the age of 25 die in the last few years. I've been to more wakes for people my age than I have for anyone else, and frankly, that sucks.
As for the COM transfer fiasco, my new best friend Dean Berkovitz is allowing me to bypass the CO201 grade requirement and will allow me to transfer into COM if I have a 3.0 by the end of the year and get a B in any other COM classes that I take until I transfer in. That means that I have won this battle Prof. Voskeritchian, you horrible, unoriginal, uninspiring, spiteful, bitter, pompous, idiotic wind-bag. You are the devil in poor disguise and I hope that your crappy writing goes nowhere for the rest of your life. (Isn't getting revenge on the internet fun?)
Finally, I give sb e-mail: "Stunt Double" two thumbs up. It was funny (unlike the last couple of weeks) and original (something that sb has not been accomplishing while not being funny). My favorite moment was "Dangeresque 2: This time it's not Dangeresque 1."
That is all.
